MULIA BALI HOTEL STARTS TO SET STRATEGY TO INCREASE DOMESTIC TOURIST GUESTS

FACING the corona virus outbreak or COVID-19, Mulia Bali Hotel launched a strategy to boost the presence of domestic tourist guests.

According to Vania Sulityas, Communications Manager of Mulia Bali Hotel explained that our party has provided special facilities for families, especially children since the end of 2019, one of which is free ice cream.

“For the package of 2 adults and 2 children, we provide free ice cream. Then we also provide game features for families such as fun fair by the beach and kids club from 8 am to 8 pm,” she said.

Vania Sulityas continued, the families who stayed, many took the Indulge package which was a 3-day stay and free spa treatments. In general, tourist arrivals in Bali are less compared to normal days due to the corona virus effect or COVID-19. However, in the last few days, many domestic tourists filled the area of Bali.

“We cannot open a comparison of the number of visitors who attended before and after the COVID-19 virus spread, but so far many international guests who come to Mulia Bali are still occupied by Australians, then Asians such as Korea, Japan, China, then Germany, Spain, and Russia,” Vania noted.

She added, this would also be an opportunity to attract domestic tourists by promoting Balinese culture. Approaching Nyepi day, which falls in two months, could be a momentum for domestic tourists to explore Balinese culture.

“The March period is rather flat, but entering April to July, domestic tourists will definitely meet Bali, that’s the high season,” she explained. [kontan.co.id/photo special]
