RI WILL GIVES DISCOUNTED AIRLINE TICKETS UP TO 40% TO 10 DESTINATIONS

THE Indonesian government (RI) will provide a number of incentives to encourage the tourism sector. Incentives will be given to a number of supporting components. So that later the price of plane tickets can be pressed for discounts of up to 40%.

According to the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi said it was given to airlines so he could discount (ticket rates) 30% to 40%. There are three incentives that will be given by the government to reduce ticket prices. First is direct incentives from the government.

“The two incentives provided by airport managers are PT Angkasa Pura I and PT Angkasa Pura II. All three incentives will be given to avtur prices. The three are bundled with how many discounts will be given,” Budi explained.

He added, flight incentives were not provided for the entire region. This only applies to 10 leading Indonesian tourism destinations such as Bali, Bintan, and Manado.

“Provision of incentives is set for the next 3 months. Even so, this period has the potential to be extended in the future. Up to 3 months, yes (it can be continued), of course so,” Budi noted. [antaranews/photo special]
