WINGS AIR OPENS PONTIANAK-PALANGKARAYA FLIGHT ROUTE IN EARLY APRIL

WINGS Air, a subsidiary of Lion Group, opens flight routes to Pontianak and its surroundings in West Kalimantan, on a scheduled basis with a frequency of once a week going/returning (PP). The route will be effective April 3, 2020.

Wings Air’s first route starts from Supadio International Airport in Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan (PNK) at 15:20 local time (West Indonesia Time/WIB, GMT + 07). Wings Air uses flight number IW-1448 and will land at Tjilik Riwut Airport, Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan at 16.55 WIB.

On the same day, Wings Air serves the opposite flight. Wings Air number IW-1449 from Palangkaraya is scheduled to air at 17.15 West Indonesia Time, then expected to arrive at Supadio at 18.55 West Indonesia Time. The Pontianak-Palangkaraya-Pontianak service will place Wings Air as the only airline flying both cities.

In an effort to provide its own flight options, Wings Air offers air travel of approximately 60 minutes by operating ATR 72-500 or 600 aircraft. This fleet has a capacity of 72 economy class seats with 2-2 layout.

“Wings Air has prepared operations for the upcoming new route, which still prioritizes safety, security and comfort,” Wings Air Strategic Corporate Communication Danang Mandala Prihartono said in his official statement. [photo special]
