COMPETE WITH LION AIR, CITILINK OPENS FREE RAPID TEST FOR PASSENGERS

CITILINK Indonesia opens COVID-19 rapid test service free of charge for passengers. Previously, Lion Air Group’s rapid test service was also carried out at a cost of IDR95,000 per passenger.

As quoted from the official website of Citilink, a subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia, it provides a free rapid test service for passengers who purchase tickets through the Citilink website and mobile application.

There are several conditions that must be fulfilled by passengers if they want to get these free services. Among other things, when booking tickets only on 1-7 July 2020 with flight schedules on 2-31 July 2020.

Booking of Date of Issued (DOI) flight tickets per July 1-7 2020. Date of Travel (DOT) flight schedule per July 2-31, 2020. After making a ticket payment, passengers will receive an e-ticket in which there is a service registration link and a unique number as a sign of receiving COVID-19 rapid test service for free.

For passengers who get rapid test services for free but do not use it, it will automatically be forfeited. This free COVID-19 Rapid Test service cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be refunded.

If the results of the rapid test show non-reactive, then the passenger will receive the results of the inspection and get a health certificate that is needed as one of the conditions that must be met to use the mode of air transportation.
