KOMODO NATIONAL PARK APPLY ONLINE REGISTRATION SYSTEM FOR TOURISTS

THE Labuan Bajo Flores Tourism Authority Agency continues to coordinate with the Komodo National Park Office, local government and tourism stakeholders in West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) in line with the planned implementation of an online registration and membership system in Komodo National Park and surrounding destinations.

According to the Director of the Labuan Bajo Flores Tourism Authority Agency, Shana Fatina in her statement in Labuan Bajo explained that related to the application of membership or membership is still being finalized between the NTT provincial government together with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).

For prospective tourists who will visit to see the habitat of ancient Komodo dragons (Varanus komodoensis) in the Komodo National Park area are asked to choose a location and fill in the hours of visit, especially for the location of Loh Liang, Loh Buaya, and Padar Island. The same thing applies to land tourism (non-TN Komodo), sea tourism (non-TN Komodo).

After completion, the validation result email will be sent via the email used when ordering online. All travel documents including proof of online booking must be printed and brought for validation upon arrival at Komodo Airport.

For tourists who want to visit tourist destinations in West Manggarai Regency and outside the Komodo National Park, the local government exempts the entrance fee of all tourist destinations outside KNP until 31 July 2020.
