VAN GOGH’S WORK NOW CAN BE WATCHED IN THE MUSEUM FROM THE CAR

ART lovers can watch Van Gogh’s works in his drive (drive-in) at the Toronto Museum, Canada. The move is considered a breakthrough for tourism because visitors can still watch entertainment or exhibitions with health protocols during COVID-19.

“Of course, because our COVID has to think creatively,” Corey Ross, co-producer of the Van Gogh exhibition, told AFP.

“You have never had this kind of experience in your car. It feels almost as if the car was ‘flying’ through art,” Ross said.

The “Van Gogh, Starry Night” exhibition in Canada was held thanks to the support of organizers who had held a similar exhibition at L’Atelier des Lumieres, Paris.

The exhibition in Toronto featured a digital concept, namely the works of Dutch painters were projected onto walls and floors with high resolution.

The exhibition hall can hold 10 cars at a time. The car must face front and the driver must turn off the engine because it will interfere with music playback when the work is displayed. A performance package is held for 35 minutes, and visitors can take photos. [antaranews]
