BMW Indonesia presents two of the latest sports vehicles, the BMW X3 M Competition and the X4 M Competition, which are sold at a price above IDR2 billion (off-the-road).
According to President Director of BMW Group Indonesia, Ramesh Divyanathan at the virtual launch said finally, this is the first appearance of two sports cars that have been long awaited by BMW M fans throughout Indonesia.
Rames explained that, 2019 was the most successful year in the 50-year history of BMW M GmbH, with global sales growth of 32 percent and shipments of more than 135,000 units. In addition, BMW in Indonesia also achieved an increase in sales for the BMW M compared to 2018, by selling 52 units compared to 48 units for the previous year.
“So, I am very confident that with the expansion of the segment in the series of high performance vehicles with the BMW X3 M Competition and the BMW X4 M Competition will also be a huge success. He explained this fantastic priced car is equipped with an in-line six-cylinder engine with superlative performance. The addition of the BMW M GmbH vehicle variant in the medium-sized Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) and Sports Activity Coupe (SAC) segments also marks the emergence of the latest six-cylinder in-line engine.
The new engine greatly emphasizes the famous BMW M high-revving character, the latest BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology update, plus a proven cooling and oil supply system on the racetrack.
With the bi-turbo variant developed specifically for the BMW X3 M Competition and the BMW X4 M Competition, this engine recorded an output of 30 hp higher than the non-Competition variant with a total of 510 hp. Interestingly, from the performance of this six-cylinder in-line engine two vehicles can each reach peak torque of 600Nm from the range of 2,600 and 5,950 rpm.
These two latest cars, both from the sedan variant and also the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in just 4.1 seconds. The top speeds of the two models are electronically regulated 250 km / h

Inside the vehicle, electrically adjustable sports seats, Vernasca leather upholstery, BMW M special cockpit, BMW M leather steering wheel, and BMW M gearshift create a sporty and luxurious atmosphere.
The BMW X3 M Competition and the BMW X4 M Competition bring further exclusive accents to the exterior in the form of High-gloss Black for BMW kidney kidney grille surrounds, distinctive rear view mirrors, BMW M gills and rear spoilers in the Sports Activity Coupe.
Standard equipment also includes lightweight BMW M 21-inch V-spoke style 765 M alloy wheels in Bi-color high-sheen/Jet Black and BMW M Sport exhaust systems.
