KERTAJATI AIRPORT HOLDS A TENDER FOR HOTEL & MICE CONSTRUCTIONS

PT Bandara Internasional Jawa Barat (PT BIJB) held a tender for the construction of a number of supporting infrastructure in Kertajati Airport, Majalengka Regency, such as three and four star hotels and meeting room facilities (MICE), which are located in an integrated area or cargo village.

According to the Director of BIJB Salahudin Rafi in his press release received in Bandung, West Java, said that in line with the acceleration of the completion of the Cisumdawu Toll Road, which is planned to be operational by the end of 2021, his party will also align a number of business development plans.

“In addition, we will also build maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities for aircraft and cargo villages. Currently, the tender process is in progress. If this process is completed, it is hoped that by the end of 2020 development will begin and by the end of 2021 it will be operational,” he said.

He added, specifically for the aerocity area, the acceleration of the completion of the master plan review and the completeness of the documents were being prepared to be able to do market sounding at the end of 2020.

According to him, these steps are all in accordance with the direction of the Governor of West Java M. Ridwan Kamil. When the Cisumdawu Toll Road is connected to Kertajati Airport from and to the city of Bandung with a 45-minute travel time, the needs of passengers, cargo and airline players who have been complained about can be fulfilled.
