“Our geo site is very natural. Still very virgin. People now, because of the pandemic, are afraid to leave. But have a longing for traveling. Well, it’s most appropriate to Belitung. Only 45 minutes from Jakarta,” Isyak Meirobie said.
He added that there are a lot of preparations, including several year-end events. Such as fireworks and other activities. In addition, local government has observed that the hotel sector has prepared to accommodate tourists for the year-end holidays.
“A number of hotels have prepared events to welcome the new year. In fact, some are almost full book. We hope that at the end of this year, Belitung will be visited by tourists so that it can revive the sluggish economy,” Isyak Meirobie noted.
