CITILINK CONTINUES TO EXPAND, OPEN FLIGHT ROUTES TO THE EASTERN REGION

CITILINK Indonesia is increasingly aggressively expanding its domestic routes to Eastern Indonesia by inaugurating the Surabaya-Jayapura route.

According to Citilink Vice President Corporate Secretary & CSR, Resty Kusandarina said Surabaya-Jayapura route operates every day using an Airbus A320 aircraft. Meanwhile, the inaugural flight is carried out today.

“This is a series of Citilink’s programs reaching Eastern Indonesia after previously developing connectivity in the Sulawesi and East Nusa Tenggara regions. This time Citilink has penetrated the Papua region by opening flight routes from Surabaya to Jayapura,” she said in a press release.

She explained that it is hoped that the opening of this flight route can help improve connectivity in the Papua region so that it provides easy mobility for the community and smoothes logistics distribution. This flight is scheduled to depart from Juanda International Airport, Surabaya at 09.00 local time and arrive at Sentani Airport, Jayapura at 15.30 local time with flight number QG 252.

“The Jayapura-Surabaya route flight is scheduled to depart from Sentani Airport, Jayapura at 16:10 local time and arrive at Juanda International Airport, Surabaya at 18.30 local time with flight number QG 253,” she noted.
