SANDIAGA UNO: I INVITE ENTREPRENEURS ETC, TO WORK FROM BALI

THE Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, invited entrepreneurs and professionals to work from Bali to help the economy of the tourism sector and the creative economy on the Island of the Gods.

“I invite businessmen and professionals to work while traveling in Bali. This is expected to help revive Bali’s economy which was affected by the pandemic. Moreover, 80% of Balinese people depend on the tourism sector and the creative economy,” he said.

He explained, I invite businessmen and professionals to consider working from Bali. Because there are two functions, first we can be more efficient and can enjoy the natural beauty of Bali, we also help the tourism sector and the creative economy in Bali.

Menister Sandiaga has also coordinated with the Bali Provincial Government to prepare “Work From Bali” or “Study From Bali” packages which will be marketed in the near future. For expatriates in Jakarta or other areas, we will offer work packages from Bali. Of course, with the implementation of strict and disciplined health protocols.

“Even though he works from Bali, I reminded tourists to comply with 3M’s (Put on a mask, Washing hands, Keep your distance and avoid crowds) health protocol in a disciplined manner so that they can be safer and more comfortable in carrying out activities. The first day I was based in Bali, I have done several activities and have been very efficient since the morning. But the implementation of 3M’s health protocol must be strictly and disciplined,” Sandiaga noted.

Sandiaga Uno, who will be based in Bali until Saturday (30/1), revealed that one of the reasons for working on the Island of the Gods is to hear directly and motivate tourism actors to stay enthusiastic and be able to rise again after the COVID-19 epidemic.

“As is well known, the economic sector in Bali has been shaken by the pandemic. In the 3rd quarter of 2020 even minus 12%. I have to attend myself to hear directly from the perpetrator. Because currently, as we all know, there are many actors who have been affected, we want to join hands to work from Bali and travel in Indonesia so that we can immediately rise up,” he concluded.
