THE SISTERFIELDS BRINGING SEMINYAK, BALI TO JAKARTA THROUGH COFFEE AND CAKE

THE tantalizing cakes and drinks in Seminyak, Bali are now being brought to the Jakarta, making culinary lovers feel they are on the island of the Gods at least through their sense of taste.

The Sisterfields Australian Cafe which opened in Seminyak Bali launched the Sisterfields Bakery in Jakarta. Not only tempting pastries, Sisterfields also brought along the Sibling Espresso Bar coffee bar to provide a new choice for coffee lovers and their friends.

“Bossman Bali Burger expansion to Jakarta has provided us with insight into the food & beverage situation in Jakarta,” said the founder of 8 Degree Projects, the hospitality and lifestyle group that launched Sisterfields, Adam McAsey in his statement.

He hopes that the presence of Sisterfields Bakery and Sibling Espresso Bar can bring the taste of Melbourne and Seminyak to the people in Jakarta. “These two brands were created by Melbournians who live in Bali and they use local Balinese ingredients. We hope these two brands will remind them of the beautiful memories in Bali.”

The various dishes served vary with a price range between IDR30,000 to IDR99,000. You can taste the Famous Australian Carrot Cake. Consisting of grated carrots, apples, lemon shavings, pineapple compote and a sprinkling of roasted coconut with cream cheese icing.

If you like spices, there is the Tunisian Orange Cake which consists of orange and almond cake with spice syrup, cinnamon, star anise and cloves with citrus icing. Chocolate lovers can opt for the classic Tabanan Chocolate Brownie brownie, made from Tabanan chocolate with raspberries and walnuts.

Coffee and non-coffee drinks are packaged in minimalist-style cans, consisting of palm milk coffee which has a 60% dark chocolate taste and toffee, as well as Black Coffee Bali Honey which is a combination of black coffee with Balinese honey. As well as Black Tea Vanilla Mint, a combination of black tea with mint and Balinese vanilla and Rosella Ginger Tea, Balinese rosellia tea with peacock ginger and kaffir lime.

These two brands operate with a cloud-kitchen concept located in Kemang, Menteng, BSD and Kebayoran Lama for delivery via online motorcycle taxi applications, as well as e-commerce. [antaranews]
