SANTIKA INDONESIA HOTELS & RESORTS WINS ‘PANDEMIC RESISTANT’ AWARD

SANTIKA Indonesia Hotels & Resorts can be proud because on the commemoration of International Labor Day, recently received an award as one of the companies that can survive and are able to make various adjustments during this COVID-19 Pandemic. This decision was made by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia Number 51 of 2021 on April 30, 2021.

This award was given at the Bekasi Center for Job Training Development (BBPLK) and was directly given by the Minister of Manpower, Ida Fauziyah, and this event carries the theme “May Day: Recover Together”.

According to Markhani, GM Human Resources & General Affairs Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resorts representing the company to receive the award said there were approximately 4 criteria assessed to receive this award: (1). Attempting to adapt to minimize layoffs, (2). Carry out efforts to prevent COVID-19 in the employees’ environment by monitoring employee health programs and handling COVID-19 sufferers in employees properly.

“And the third, There have been no accidents during the pandemic in the work environment due to negligence of employees so far (zero accident) and (4). Has a training and apprenticeship program through the Santika Training Center. We are very proud and very happy, as a company that was in the most impactful sector (tourism) at the time of this COVIC-19i pandemic, we are still able to promote kinship between employees and also provide the best service to our guests at the same time” he said.

Markhani explained that the achievement of this award was due to the solidarity of all employees of Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resorts for one voice to support the government in following all its directions so that Indonesia quickly achieved a recovering economy.

“In order for the situation to quickly return to normal, we agreed to have one voice and that Santika Indonesia Hotels & Resorts can run in an orderly manner in accordance with government recommendations. We set a one-door communication pattern, so that information can be transmitted properly between our employees,” he added.

Santika Indonesia Hotels and Resorts currently manages 111 hotel units with 7 main brands: The Anvaya Beach Resorts as a 5-star hotel, Hotel Santika Premiere as a 4-star hotel, Hotel Santika as a 3-star hotel, Kampi Hotel as an instagenic 3-star hotel, Amaris Hotel as a smart hotel and The Royal Collection (The Samaya and The Kayana) as Boutique Villas with a total of 4 units.
