ANGKASA PURA I TARGETING PASSENGER TRAFFIC TO GROW 11% IN 2020

IN 2020, PT Angkasa Pura I projects moderate traffic growth of 11%, from 81.53 million passenger traffic in 2019 to 90.65 million passengers in 2020.

According to Vice President Corporate Secretary of AP I, Handy Heryudhitiawan said, in 2019 Angkasa Pura I serves 81.53 million passengers at 14 of its managed airports. This number is down 15.6% compared to passenger traffic in 2018 which reached 96.65 million passengers.

“Even though the challenges of the aviation industry in 2019 are quite heavy, AP I remains committed to building airports to be better and broader. In 2020, AP I plans to expand by carrying out several development projects,” he said.

He added, both terminal expansion and runway extension at several airports such as Surabaya Juanda Airport (SUB), Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar (UPG), Manado Sam Ratulangi Airport (MDC), Lombok Praya Airport (LOP), El Tari Kupang Airport (KOE) , and Adi Soemarmo Solo Airport (SOC).
