DESPITE ITS AGE, STUNNING PERFORMS OF THE JACKSONS AT BNI JAVA JAZZ FESTIVAL

THE performance of the legendary music group The Jacksons at the BNI Java Jazz Festival 2020 which had been expected on the second day of the festival was successfully held. The Jacksons fans were seen coming from almost all ages to meet BNI Hall to witness their idols firsthand.

No less than 17 songs were presented by Jackie, Tito and Marlon Jackson on this Saturday night. The show opened with an audience greeting by Cameron Smith, who was once an American radio and TV personality announcer, followed by the song Indonesia Raya, led by Yura Yunita where all the audience were asked to stand up and loudly sing the Indonesian national anthem.

The Jacksons began the show by showing a video showing fans from time to time and after the video ended, the show began with the song Can You Feel It and immediately continued with the song Blame It On The Boogie. The excitement of The Jacksons shows continued when Jackie, Tito and Marlon Jackson performed Michael Jackson’s late song Rock With You and continued with the song Enjoy Yourself, Show You the Way to Go and Lovely One.

The show continued with the screening of 2300 Jackson Street video where the video explained how the career and life of The Jacksons. The video shows how their bedroom was when their was a child, how they got into Motown Records and how they lived as top artists.

After showing the video, The Jacksons returned to the stage and Jackie Jackson greeted the audience by saying “We want to thank you for your support throughout the years. Thank you.” After that they performed Jackson 5 songs in a medley like I Want You Back, ABC, Stop, The Love You Save, Dancing Machine, Never Can Say Goodbye and I’ll Be There.

After singing the songs of Jackson 5, The Jacksons performed songs that are also familiar to the ears of fans, namely Can’t Let Her Get Away, Heartbreak Hotel (This Place Hotel), Shake Your Body Down to the Ground and their energetic performances and the perfect ending with the song Wanna Be Startin ‘Something.
