PT Dafam Hotel Management (DHM), a subsidiary of listed company PT Dafam Property Tbk has experienced a decline in visitors in the hotel and resort businesses it manages.

“The decline in visits at the hotels under its management occurred by 15% in all Dafam hotel units in Indonesia. Almost at some point there was a decline. However, in Surabaya, Jember, Cilacap, and Pekalongan there was an increase in visits by an average of 10% in the last two months,” Andhy said.

He added that while the resort hotels under the auspices of Dafam in Bali and Lombok slow down by around 50% and 10%, respectively. In the face of a significant decline in visits, his party had not yet imposed termination of employment (layoffs) on all his employees. Our party no longer hires daily workers and trainees because of lonely business.

“Our party also applies a work plan with an unpaid leave system to its employees in turn, if the business is seen as getting worse. We are also preparing a Contingency Plan under the direction and attention of Dafam’s corporate head office. There will be Personal In Charge in each division that continues to monitor performance,” he continued.

Andhy Irawan also mentioned that the thing that is paid attention to by Dafam is to maximize revenue and reduce expenses from all hotels managed by Dafam. This year, Dafam Hotel Management is targeting to build seven new hotels in Jakarta, Kalimantan, Central Java and Yogyakarta, with an occupancy rate of 85%. [traveltext.id]
