CONSIDERING the risk situation for the COVID-19 outbreak in the country and to support the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in overcoming its spread, AirAsia Indonesia (QZ flight code) took the initiative to temporarily suspend all flight services from 1 April 2020.

Domestic flights will be suspended until April 21, 2020, international routes will be suspended until May 17, 2020. AirAsia Indonesia will continue to monitor the development of the situation and will take the anticipatory steps necessary to restart flight services later when the situation starts to improve.

Affected passengers will receive notification via email and SMS that are registered when purchasing tickets. AirAsia offers flexibility of choice including the opportunity to ‘Change Schedule’ indefinitely and without additional fees, or ‘Credit Account’ in the form of a purchase balance that can be used for the next ticket purchase for 365 days.
