FORMULA 1 2020 MUST CONTINUE TO AVOID ECONOMIC CHAOS

FORMULA 1 (F1) 2020 which is now postponed due to the corona virus pandemic is considered to have to roll by July 2020 to avoid economic chaos.

This was revealed by former racer, Frank Tost, who now serves as team principal Alpha Tauri (Red Bull Racing junior team). At present, all Formula 1 teams are facing the threat of losing sponsors due to the suspended championship.

“If we start the July championship, we can get out of a (financial) critical situation. If not, I don’t know what will happen,” Frank Tost was quoted as saying on Marca’s website.

He added, we had no income, and this was an economic disaster. Will the sponsor stay with us? I do not know.

“We have to face the reality to find out what economic impacts will be the same as other sectors,” he continued

Until now there is no certainty when Formula 1 2020 can begin after the initial nine series have been canceled as scheduled. The latest, the Canadian Grand Prix (GP) which was supposed to be held on June 12-14 was decided to be postponed on Tuesday (7/4). [sources/photo special]
