COVID-19, PT. DHM SUPPORTS STAFFS & COMMUNITY THROUGH DAFAM CARES

THE COVID-19 pandemic has had quite a serious impact on the tourism industry and one of them is the hospitality business.

According to Andhy Irawan, CEO of PT. Dafam Hotel Management (DHM) said to respond quickly to the complexity of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the tourism sector, especially hospitality which has a direct implication on employees and the community around the hotel.

“PT. DHM together with all stakeholders including the Board of Directors, Hotel Owners, hotel unit leaders (General Manager/Villa Manager) are moving together to take part in the “Dafam Cares” program with the theme “Beautiful Sharing & Caring, Enjoying Gratitude,” he said.

He pointed out this activity was held simultaneously on April 20, 2020 in all hotel units under PT.DHM starting from Pekanbaru, Lubuk Linggau, Jakarta, Bandung, Pekalongan, Cilacap, Purwokerto, Kebumen, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Banjarbaru, Jember, Surabaya, Lombok, and Bali.

Dafam Peduli this time is devoted to sharing to employees directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in all DHM hotel units throughout Indonesia and sharing to the community around the hotel in the form of food and cash as well as the implementation directly led by DHM CEO Andhy Irawan and President Director of PT DPI Tbk Billy Dahlan.

“Dafam Cares” or Dafam Peduli is a place for aspirations of the spirit and awareness of corporate social responsibility for humanity which is packaged in various social activities and inspiring campaigns,” Andhy said.

He added, this program was both an embodiment of two of Dafam’s corporate values, namely the principle of caring for others and the environment and benefits for family, community, nation and state.

PT. DHM remains committed to providing the best service and staying operational throughout Indonesia (except Lombok). In the current condition in the COVID-19 pandemic phase, all hotels always prioritize the COVID-19 protocol for hotel operations, services, guests and employees.
