THAI LION AIR RE-OPERATES WITH SIX DOMESTIC CITIES IN THAILAND

THAI Lion Air member of Lion Air Group delivers the latest information that has resumed operations by serving domestic flights.

Previously, Thai Lion Air carried out a temporary delay or cancellation in accordance with the rules because of the impact of the corona virus outbreak 19 (Covid-19). For information, domestic services are still permitted to operate, but with various restrictions, so that almost all cancel flights.

The six domestic destinations that have begun to be flown today, consist of: (1). Bangkok-Don Mueang International Airport, (2). Chiang Mai-Chiang Mai International Airport, Northern Thailand, (3). Surat Thani-Surat Thani International Airport, Phunphin District, (4). Ubon Ratcahani- Ubon Ratchathani Airport, (5). Nakon Si Thammarat-Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport, and (6). Hat Yai- Hat Yai International Airport.

Thai Lion Air operates the flight according to standard operating procedures (SOP) based on the rules, which still prioritizes aspects of flight safety, security and comfort (safety first).

Thai Lion Air applies physical distancing settings covering the queue when checking body temperature, the security check-point (SCP) area, when the queue is reported (check-in), in the waiting room, until it starts entering the aircraft cabin (boarding).

For seating arrangements, Thai Lion Air has adapted mechanisms for Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900ER (3-3 seat layout), seats are only available near the window and aisle, for parts middle is not used with marked “X”.

Flight implementation is guided by the principles and standard operating procedures of health in ensuring the safety of the crew on duty and passengers.

Therefore, Thai Lion Air appeals and asks all employees, flight attendants and passengers, to pay attention and follow the recommendations of all health protocols, including maintaining a safe distance, requiring wearing masks, and for crew members to wear gloves. The goal is that there is sufficient space between one person and another person to eliminate the transmission of the virus.

In flight, Thai Lion Air does not provide sales for snacks, drinks and heavy food (no food and beverage sales onboard) and does not allow each passenger to bring his own food to be consumed during the flight (no private food and beverage consumptions onboard). [sources/photo special]
