OPERATING HOURS IN EACH AIRPORTS WHICH MANAGED BY ANGKASA PURA I

PT Angkasa Pura I has prepared guard and inspection posts for people who will take air travel through its 15 managed airports and several other efforts starting Thursday, May 7, 2020.

According to Managing Director of AP I Faik Fahmi said this was an effort to support the smooth passage of airplane passengers during the period of going home and forth which was limited to certain criteria according to Circular Letter for Task Force for Handling Acceleration of COVID-19 Number 4 of 2020 concerning Criteria for Travel Restrictions People In Order to Accelerate Handling of COVID-19.

“Angkasa Pura I welcomes and supports the Government’s directives by establishing security and inspection posts at airports which are equipped with health protocol implementation facilities according to Minister of Transportation Regulations (Permenhub) No. 18 of 2020 concerning Transportation Control in the Context of Preventing the Spread of COVID-19 and Permenhub Number 25 of 2020 regarding Control of Transportation during Eid Al-Fitr 1441 H In Order to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19,” Faik Fahmi said.

He added, besides that, AP I also provided and implemented slot time recommendations if there were airlines that proposed changing flight schedules in accordance with the operational hours of each airport.

The update of operational hours adjustment for each Angkasa Pura I airport during this pandemic are: (1). Juanda Airport Surabaya at 06.00-18.00 in the period 6 May to 22 July 2020, (2). I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Bali at 07.00-02.00 in the period 6-31 May 2020, (3). Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar Airport at 06.00-19.00 in the period 1-31 May 2020, (4). SAMS Sepinggan Airport Balikpapan at 06.00-18.00 in the period 8 April-29 May 2020, (5). Yogyakarta Adisutjipto Airport at 07.00-16.00 in the period 1-31 May 2020, (6). Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) at 06.00-17.00 in the period April 24-June 1 2020.

(7). Adi Soemarmo Airport Solo at 08.00-16.00 in the period 25 April-31 May 2020, (8). Jenderal Ahmad Yani Airport Semarang at 06.00-18.00 in the period 1-31 May 2020, (9). Lombok Praya Airport at 09.00-15.00 in the period 2 May-1 June 2020, (10). El Tari Kupang Airport at 06.00-18.00 in the period 2-29 May 2020, (11). Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin at 08.00-17.00 in the period April 29-May 31, 2020, (12). Sam Ratulangi Airport Manado at 07.00-18.00 in the period 5 May-1 June 2020, (13). Ambon Pattimura Airport at 07.00-15.00 in the period 1-31 May 2020, (14). Frans Kaisiepo Biak Airport at 06.00-15.00 in the period of April 21-May 6, 2020, (15). Sentani Airport at 6:00 to 17:30 in the period 30 April-31 May 2020.

As is known, the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi said that all modes of transportation are planned to resume operations starting Thursday, May 7, 2020 with restrictions on passenger criteria.

This was then accompanied by the issuance of a Circular Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 as a complement to the regulation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) and arrangements related to transportation control during Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The circular was also supplemented by the Ministry of Transportation Circular No. SE 31 of 2020 concerning Arrangements for Air Transportation During the Prohibited Period of Idul Fitri in the Context of Preventing the Distribution of Covid-19.

In carrying out these efforts, Angkasa Pura I always pays attention to health protocols and Minister of Transportation Regulation No. PM 18 of 2020 concerning Transportation Control in the Context of Preventing the Distribution of Covid-19, and always coordinating with the Airport Authority, the Port Health Office (KKP), Police, TNI, Local Government, COVID-19 Regional Task Force and other relevant agencies.
