AIRASIA INDONESIA WILL OPERATES SCHEDULED FLIGHTS START ON JUNE 1, 2020

DUE to operational reasons and extended periods of social restrictions in several regions, AirAsia Indonesia (flight code QZ) will adjust the operation of scheduled flights on international and domestic routes in stages, and will commence on 1 June 2020 on certain routes.

Kuala Lumpur-Surabaya and Johor Bahru-Surabaya flights, which were originally scheduled to operate on a limited basis from 18 May 2020, have been temporarily delayed. Prospective passengers affected by this change have received cancellation notices along with information on compensation options via email and SMS that were registered when purchasing tickets.

AirAsia Indonesia urges all guests who will be flying later to always pay attention and meet the health, immigration and travel restrictions set by the regional authority or government in the region / country of origin and destination.

AirAsia has implemented precautionary measures to maintain the health and comfort of its guests and flight crew. All guests are required to wear a mask from the check-in process, boarding, during the flight to baggage upon arrival at the destination airport.

Guests are expected to bring a spare mask, hand sanitizer and follow the latest AirAsia cabin baggage requirements. Guests are expected to arrive 3 hours prior to scheduled departure to avoid queue congestion due to health checks at several points before departure. Please read the guide “Fly Safely With AirAsia” for more information.

All guests are advised to reconfirm their departure terminal due to temporary terminal changes for domestic and international flights at several airports.

AirAsia remains committed to serving passenger and cargo charter flights for the needs of government, private, organizational and community trips to various domestic and international destinations with the approval of the relevant authorities.

AirAsia will continue to monitor the development of the situation and will take the anticipatory steps necessary to restart flight services later. For more information on available flight schedules, please visit airasia.com or the AirAsia application. [sources/photo special]
