According to West Java (West Java) Governor M Ridwan Kamil, who was present at the launch of the West Java Calendar of Event 2021, in Bandung, said I hopes that with these hundreds of agendas, the tourism, culture and creative economy sectors of West Java will recover after being slumped by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Hopefully with 352 events in 2021, the work to restore the creative economy will continue. All events will take place with New Habit Adaptation (AKB). Health protocols will be strictly enforced. There were 352 events that indicated that West Java people were creative and productive even during the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.
He explained that West Java Province is an attractive tourist destination for domestic and foreign tourists. The beauty of the panorama and culture is a magnet for tourists to visit West Java. Tourism is a business of happiness. All villages and cities in West Java have great tourism potential. This can trigger economic recovery in West Java, especially for tourism and the creative economy.
“Today we are optimistic that we want to restore the economy through adaptation with productivity in the cultural field. We have already selected, God willing, in 2021 there will be 352 events from district, provincial and national scales, “said Ridwan Kamil.
He added, hopefully with the Adaptation of New Habits it will not reduce enthusiasm so that West Java, besides tourism is a beautiful place, but also with its culture and creativity. In the launch event, the Regional Government (Pemda) of West Java Province collaborated with Perum Perhutani regarding the management and use of protected forests and production forests in West Java.
In addition, the West Java Provincial Government through the West Java Tourism and Culture Office has collaborated with PT Shopee International Indonesia regarding the development of the creative economy in West Java.
“Hopefully, this collaboration with Shopee can help market creative economy products from West Java. As for the theme song “Smiling West Java”, which is the flagship song for the West Java Calendar of Event, said Kang Emil, it will begin to be disseminated on several platform channels.
“All the delivery instruments will later use the West Java smiling theme song, to encourage not to be broken by COVID-19, and never to give up even though it is a pandemic, we must remain enthusiastic,” Ridwan Kamil concluded. [antaranews]
