THE INVESTMENT VALUE OF LABUAN BAJO MARINA AREA IS IDR600 BILLION

THE investment value for the development of the Labuan Bajo Marina Area, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara reaches IDR600 billion.

According to the Director of PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Ira Puspadewi said to develop this area (Marina Labuan Bajo) we poured a budget of up to IDR600 billion, starting from hotels, commercial areas, and the Marinas themselves.

“For facilities in the region such as the Inaya Bay Komodo hotel, the management is in collaboration with BUMN Hotel Indonesia Group (HGI) which all include convention halls for the use of meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) with a capacity of 1,000 people,” she said.

He added, the facility for MICE said he was the only one in Labuan Bajo, so it would certainly be very useful if there were activities in the place.

“For Marina Bay, which will be completed in December 2020, a” beach club “will also be built involving the international community. It will also build a floating restaurant right in front of the hotel and the development of a crossing pier at that location,” said Ira Puspadewi.

She also explained, if specified again, for the development of hotels including MICE and commercial areas which were the first phase of the investment value reached IDR475 billion. Then for the pier and ferry terminal IDR57 billion, and the Marina and Beach Club area of ​​IDR68 billion.

“For the construction of the terminal and pier crossing Labuan Bajo is targeted to be completed in June 2021 which is certainly able to accommodate two ferries with a weight of more than 10 thousand gross tons (GT). I hope that with the existence of the Marina Labuan Bajo area the tourist visit in that area will be longer, as expected by President Joko Widodo,” she added.

Previously President Joko Widodo in a limited meeting at the Labuan Bajo Plataran hotel wanted tourists who came to Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara to stay longer.
