BUILDING TERMINAL 4 SOETTA, AP II HAS PREPARED IDR8 TRILLION

PT ANGKASA Pura (AP) II is currently planning the design of the construction of terminal 4 of Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) Airport as requested by President Joko Widodo on Thursday (1/23).

According to Yado Yarismano, VP Corporate Communication AP II said, the design process for the terminal 4 building will be completed by the end of this year and construction will begin in early 2021.

“Indeed, we are planning to build Terminal 4. Currently, the design process is estimated to be completed by the end of this year. The development plan will begin in 2021-2023,” he said.

He continued, terminal 4 will be built on an area of ​​102 hectares and can accommodate more passengers compared to the existing terminal.

The handling of Terminal 4 passengers later, there will be more than 40 to 45 million passengers from the existing terminal. If added up annually, Terminal 4 will have a capacity of 105 million passengers per year.

“We are currently doing revitalization of Terminals 1 and 2, both of these terminals will also be doubled in capacity. In addition we will also provide accessibility development facilities in all CGK areas,” he continued.

In investment, AP II this year has budgeted a value of Rp8 trillion. As for the development project as a whole, it prepares funds ranging from IDR 12 trillion to IDR 14 trillion. [antaranews/photo special]
