BMW Indonesia and BMW Eurokars have just launched the BMW M5 Edition 35 Years in Indonesia virtually. Besides the limited amount, what is special about this special edition?
According to BMW Group Indonesia Product Planning Anindyanto Dwikumoro, said this car is the first BMW 5 Series in Indonesia equipped with BMW Laserlight. This feature in addition to providing a new look that is aligned, as well as variable road lighting and Selective Beam according to the needs of the driver.
“Its striking appearance is further enhanced by the special finish of the BMW Individual in the metallic Frozen Dark Gray II. There is also a 20-inch alloy lightweight M alloy wheels that are newly designed in the Y spoke design and Graphite Gray colors, and a carbon ceramic M brake system with gold-colored brake calipers available as standard,” he said.
Meanwhile, from the runway side, the BMW M5 Edition 35 Years is claimed to have the strongest engine of the BMW M line available in Indonesia with a V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo Technology.
This engine produces a maximum output of 625 hp and maximum torque as high as 750 Nm, along with direct engine power delivery, specially configured suspension technology, M xDrive all-wheel-drive and Active M Differential drive systems in the rear guard.
This model is capable of racing from rest to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, passing the 200 km/h mark in 10.8 seconds. The BMW M5 Edition 35 Years is also equipped with an M Driver package that offers a top speed of 305km/hour.
The interior looks luxurious with M multifunctional seats and BMW Individual Merino black full leather trim with beige contrast stitching and other features.
