PT GARUDA Indonesia Tbk wants to strengthen and expand its subsidiaries engaged in aircraft maintenance and maintenance sectors.
According to President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Irfan Sebuahutra in Jakarta, said the maintenance and maintenance sector is one of Garuda’s core businesses, and we want to expand that.
Irfan said that the Garuda subsidiary engaged in aircraft maintenance and maintenance was PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk, which is a subsidiary that has a very good reputation in the Southeast Asia region and is part of its core business as well as pride of Garuda Indonesia.
In addition, Garuda Indonesia also maintains Citilink which is engaged in the business of low-cost airlines or Low-cost carriers, considering that Garuda Indonesia airlines play in full service carriers.
Previously, PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk conducted a rationalization of the six grandchildren of the company related to the arrangement and management of children and grandchildren of State-Owned Enterprises companies.
Irfan said that this was only the initial stage of the rationalization. We would continue to do what was needed and what options were available. Garuda Indonesia also guarantees that the rationalization of its six grandchildren will not affect the ongoing contracts or commercial cooperation.
Irfan also added that specifically for aspects of human resources or HR, Garuda Indonesia did not rationalize personnel in the company’s children and grandchildren.
Garuda Indonesia Managing Director further said that the personnel who are in the company’s subsidiaries have been informed to take actions related to a series of rationalization. [antaranews]
