In the midst of the development of the corona virus pandemic (COVID-19), AirAsia boss Tony Fernandes sent letters to AirAsia customers who were affected and had to be canceled.
In his recent letter, Tony Fernandes apologized and tried to explain the condition of the company which was suffering from COVID-19. He also bluntly stated that the plague made 96% of AirAsia’s fleet not fly. The company has no incoming income even though it still has a number of financial commitments that must be met.
Even the CEO and co-founder of AirAsia admitted that he and other founders, Komarudin, were committed not to take salaries from the company during the COVID-19 period. [sources/photo special]
