THE national airline of Garuda Indonesia urges prospective passengers to pay close attention to the provisions of the entry and exit permit (SIKM) of the DKI Jakarta area.
According to Garuda Indonesia’s Managing Director Irfan Setiaputra, said in line with the enactment of the provisions of permits in and out of the DKI Jakarta area implemented by the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta.
“We appeal to prospective passengers who will enter the DKI Jakarta area to ensure that the documents and supporting documents have been fulfilled, including a thorough understanding of all applicable provisions,” he said in his official statement.
Upon the implementation of the policy, Garuda Indonesia has also conducted intensive coordination with all airport and flight service stakeholders to ensure operational readiness in the field.
Irfan added, Garuda Indonesia continued to tighten all health protocols that are regulated in the flight operational lines during this flight restriction period.
“This has included the provisions of the criteria and conditions for passengers allowed to fly, referring to the provisions of the Covid Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling 19 and the Ministry of Transportation Regulation (Permenhub) 25 of 2020,” he continued.
In accordance with the provisions of the COVID-19 Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling which regulates the provisions and criteria of people who will travel outside the area, as one of the main requirements, prospective passengers are required to be able to show a Covid-free certificate either through the results of a rapid test or polymerase chain health test reaction (PCR) test.
