TWO national airlines, Citilink Indonesia and Lion Air Group, are back in operation today after briefly stopping flights. Citilink previously chose to temporarily stop flights from 22 May and Lion Air stopped flights from 27 May.
According to Citilink Indonesia’s Corporate Secretary & CSR VP Resty Kusandarina confirmed the flight plan. Starting today, June 1, we will fly again with the health protocol referring to the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19.
Citilink has also prepared new normal procedures for flights starting June 1, 2020. The preparation includes services both in the pre-in phase, up to post flight in order to face the new normal. This preparation was carried out by Citilink from May 22, 2020 to May 31, 2020.
“This process is part of Citilink’s concern for passenger health and safety as well as Citilink’s support for government policy,” Citilink President Director Juliandra said in his official statement.
Meanwhile, Danang Mandala Prihantoro’s Strategic of Lion Air Group Corporate Communications in a press release yesterday said that Lion Air Group, which is composed of Lion Air, Wings Air, and Batik Air, is preparing to resume operations scheduled for today. Lion Air will operate with the requirements that must be implemented by prospective aircraft passengers.
