THE low-cost airline AirAsia eliminates the cost of changing flight schedules for ticket buyers traveling until December 31, 2020. This flexibility applies to any new ticket bookings in the period between June 3 and October 31, 2020.
Guests can change unlimited flight dates through the “My Purchases” menu on the official website or application, and can move their flight schedules to 31 December 2020, according to seat availability and price differences.
“Seeing the current health crisis situation and travel restrictions that have never happened before, we understand that travel plans can change at any time, especially throughout the year,” AirAsia Indonesia President Director Veranita Yosephine Sinaga said in an official statement on Wednesday (6/3) .
“We provide more flexibility for the purchase of new tickets in order to provide a trusted and guaranteed ticket booking experience for customers. Even though the cost of schedule changes are eliminated, passengers will still have to pay if there is a difference in ticket prices,” she said.
She added, the flight date or time can be moved no later than 48 hours before the original departure time. Additional products such as baggage, food, and seats will be forwarded to the new flight, but customers can re-select the food menu or seats if previous choices are not available on new flights.
