APPLY NEW NORMAL, CITILINK SERVES 104 REGULAR FLIGHTS TO 21 CITIES

CITILINK Airlines applies the New Normal policy in all lines of the Company’s operations that cover pre, in, and post-flight phases for both employees and customers on flights for passengers operating since Monday (1/6).

According to the President Director of Citilink Juliandra in Cengkareng recently said Citilink resumed serving regular flights of 104 passengers to 21 cities by implementing the ‘New Normal’ procedure and continuing to prioritize aspects of passenger safety, health and comfort.

“In the pre-flight phase, Citilink cooperated with the KKP and the local COVID-19 Handling Acceleration Task Force at each airport to check and verify the completeness of passenger documents. Citilink ensures that passengers who fly are in good health by requiring passengers to show a COVID-19 free certificate (PCR test results or rapid tests),” said Juliandra.

He added, Citilink also provided a queue distance for passengers to check-in at the check-in counter and provide web check-in facilities or through a self-check-in machine provided at the airport. In addition, Citilink implements New Boarding Management to adjust the distance in the queue during the boarding process to avoid passenger congestion.

“Then, in the in-flight phase, Citilink applies new standards in the aircraft during the flight including seating arrangements, all passengers and crew are required to always use masks, and the provision of hand sanitizers throughout the aircraft, the process of serving food and drinks with procedures hygienic,” he noted.

He also explained, in addition to the elimination of printed magazine inflight which was replaced with an electronic inflight magazine that can be downloaded from each employee through an entertainment system that will be available in stages in the Citilink fleet and setting the distance of passengers when the process of exiting the plane (disembark). While in the post-flight phase, Citilink adjusts the distance when baggage is collected in the area of ​​arrival by continuing to carry out inspection and matching procedures for the checked baggage.

“In order to maintain aircraft cabin cleanliness and sterilization, Citilink also disinfects all aircraft operating every day in accordance with applicable procedures and provides the fleet with a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arrestor) air filter system to filter out dust and various air pollutants, including viruses and bacteria,” he concluded.
