THE Indonesia National Army (TNI) and Indonesia National Police (Polri) ranks work together to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere for visitors at various tourist attractions. We have made various efforts to provide comfort and safety before the opening of tourist attractions.
According to the Head of the Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General, Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono said the ranks of the TNI-Polri worked together to create a safe and comfortable atmosphere for visitors at various tourist attractions.
“We have made various efforts to provide comfort and safety before the opening of tourist attractions,” said Argo in his statement.
Argo added that the TNI-Polri ranks were securing a persuasive approach related to health protocols in the tourism sector following the policy of the COVID-19 Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling which allowed natural attractions in the green and yellow zones to be opened to the public.
At the tourist sites, the ranks of the Indonesian National Police and the local government will prepare a number of facilities supporting standard health protocols including spraying disinfectant fluids regularly, providing a place to wash hands and hand sanitizers and implement physical distancing.
“We also ask the manager to provide supporting facilities for health protocols. For example masks. This is to anticipate if there are visitors who do not bring. Residents will also be checked for temperature and wash their hands with soap,” Argo said.
He emphasized that it was important to maintain the health and safety of visitors and provide comfort for local and foreign tourists. I hope that opening up the tourism sector with a health protocol can drive the people’s economy and provide income for the country.
“Not only the state, the people’s economy will also rise,” he finished. [antaranews/photo special]
