THE COVID-19 pandemic has caused a number of countries to close their borders, including countries in the European Union. This condition makes travelers have to refrain from traveling.
As the number of positive cases of COVID-19 has decreased, a number of countries have re-opened their borders. Reporting from Schengen Visa Info, the Council of the European Union is phasing out the entry ban for third countries that are epidemiologically safe.
In a second review of its recommendations, the council removed Algeria from the list. Algeria was issued because the number of positive cases in this country continues to increase. So, travelers from Algeria carry a risk of transmission to the European Union.
The following is a list of member countries recommended by the Council of the European Union since 31 July 2020, and was updated on 6 August 2020: (1). Australia, (2). Canada, (3). Georgia, (4).
