THE Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta has again imposed Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) starting on September 14, 2020. This has caused several tourism sectors to temporarily close again. One of them is Ancol Dreamland.
Launching the Taman Impian Jaya Ancol site, the recreation area consisting of Fantasy World, Sea World Ancol, Ocean Dream Samudra, and Ancol Beach will close again during the PSBB period determined by the government.
The management appreciates and follows this decision as an effort to break the chain of spreading Covid-19, which has recently increased the number of cases.
In its release, Taman Impian Jaya Ancol also conveyed information about tickets. Visitors who have purchased tickets online can still use them until September 13, 2020.
Meanwhile, visitors who have not been able to use the ticket until that date, the ticket validity period can be used until June 30, 2021. The validity of the ticket must be through a reservation system in advance.
Then, the active period of the visitor’s Annual Pass (Ancol, Dunia Fantasi, Sea world Ancol, and Ocean Dream Samudra) will be frozen. Visitors are entitled to an extension of the period according to the number of zoning days, age, and number of days Ancol closes as of September 14, 2020. [sources/photo special]
