BOOKING.COM is releasing a new feature that allows property owners to offer weekly to monthly rates. Under this new scheme, weekly rates require guests to stay a minimum of 7 days while monthly rates will be charged with a minimum stay of 28 days.
According to the Head of the Home and Apartment Business Division of Booking.com, Eric Bergaglia, said the addition of this new feature responded to the rampant searches on the Booking.com platform related to consumer requests for longer stays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“As part of our commitment to helping partners – from hotels to vacation rental accommodation, – who are rebuilding their business, Booking.com continues to innovate to deliver enjoyable holiday experiences,” Eric Bergaglia said.
He added that introducing new weekly and monthly dance features is one of the innovations that Booking.com has made to capitalize on new demand along with the increasing number of consumers who want a longer staying experience.
“Apart from launching weekly and monthly features, Booking.com has also recently simplified the consumer search mode by applying filtering filters,” he noted.
He explained again, this feature allows consumers to filter searches to show accommodation or property with strict health protocols. [sources/photo special]
