GARUDA Indonesia airline will reopen the Solo-Denpasar-Solo route in line with the high public interest.
According to the General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I at Adi Soemarmo Yani Airport, Ajat Hermawan in Solo, Central Java, said that in early November, Garuda Indonesia would operate a Boeing 737/800 with flight number GIA 480/481.
He said the route, which will start operating on November 6, 2020, will be served twice a week, namely Friday and Saturday.
For flight schedules, he said, the plane with flight number GIA 480 for Denpasar-Solo departed at 14:10 WIB and flight GIA 481 for Solo-Denpasar at 14.55 WIB.
Apart from Garuda Indonesia, he said, Lion Group also serves flights from Solo-Denpasar route every day with flight number JT 924 at 08.00 WIB. Regarding aircraft operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, his party continues to apply health protocols to all airport service users.
Meanwhile, Garuda Indonesia Solo Station Manager, Rudi Soemarjanto, confirmed that the route reopening plan said the opening of the Denpasar-Solo-Denpasar route was a service from Garuda for passengers traveling to Solo-Denpasar-Solo.
“Previously, the number of flights through Adi Soemarmo Airport was around 12-14 flights/day. In accordance with the regulations of the government, during the COVID-19 pandemic the filling rate is in the range of 70%.
