IS a pride and unique for the first time, the Alor woven cloth is spread out on the seabed. Alor’s nature is so beautiful, plus the creativity of the beautiful and unique Alor people is an extraordinary combination.
According to divers instructor, Hansen Oi said that stretching Alor woven cloth along 12 meters at a depth of 12 meters in the beautiful sea waters between Kepa Island, Pura Island and Alor Island is the first experience to unfurl the beautiful original Alor woven cloth.
“Supported by the beautiful nature of Alor, combined with the uniqueness of a beautiful creativity, is an extraordinary combination. He hopes that the video when spreading Alor’s woven cloth on the seabed will become history and motivate Alor’s children to preserve their culture,” he said.
He added that I hope the results of this effort will become a story for our children and grandchildren so that they don’t stop continuing the customs and traditions of weaving as the creativity of the Alor people. We can also pass this Alor weaving to the next generation in a state that is still beautiful and sustainable.
Meanwhile, the Head of Alor Police, AKBP. Augustinus Christmas, S.I.K said that his party was preparing for five days of diving training so that they could spread the beautiful Alor woven cloth on the beautiful Alor seabed.
“My team and I have participated in training at Alor Dive for five days, so this is the first opportunity for us to spread a woven cloth along the 12 meters on the seabed. This is also an extraordinary first experience,” Agustinus noted.
He explained that his party had tried to spread the 12-meter-long woven cloth at a depth of 17 meters, but because the ocean currents around the waters of Pulau Pura Islands and Pulau Alor were quite fast, divers decided to go up to a depth of 12 meters. Alor’s nature, including Alor’s underwater world, is I considered to be very beautiful. [traveltext.id/photo special]
