POKEMON not only exist in the form of animations, puppets, to popular games, but now they also appear in the form of an airplane over the sky of Sakura Country.
Pikachu lovers and their friends can feel the sensation of boarding a plane decorated with adorable monsters and pokeballs in various angles on the Solaseed Air airline from Japan.
Located on the island of Kyushu, this Pokemon-themed aircraft was first inaugurated on December 19, 2020 as a form of a tourism collaboration project between The Pokemon Company and various regions in Japan.
Its maiden flight was from Miyazaki to Haneda airport in Tokyo. Reportedly, each region in Japan will be represented by a different Pokemon. The flight from Miyazaki, which is famous for its palm trees, is decorated with the tree-shaped Exeggutor pokemon.
Exeggutor also graces the buses in Miyazaki. Meanwhile in the Kagawa area, Pokemon Slowpoke is the star of the attraction, while Chansey is “on duty” in Fukushima. These Pokemon-themed planes and buses operate until the end of 2021, as quoted by Sora News. [antarnews]
