THERE are many ways to get to #DiIndonesiaAja tourist destinations, one of which is by road or better known as a road trip. Infrastructure built by the government, such as the Trans Java Toll Road, which has now reached Probolinggo, is a solution to simplify and shorten travel times.
To enjoy the road trip moment, it is better for tourists to equip themselves with various needs. Starting from culinary to various needs originating from the creative economy sector, which is now being maximized through the #BanggaBuatanIndonesia movement.
Based on data compiled in the 2019 Opus Creative Economy Outlook, the creative economy sector contributed IDR1,105 trillion to Indonesia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
For this reason, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, appealed to all parties involved in the creative economy sector to collaborate in harnessing the power of the creative economy so that the objectives of the sustainable development agenda can be achieved.
“Everyone must have a share in helping revive the creative economy industry in Indonesia and even globally,” said Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, at the “International Year of Creative Economy 2021 (IYoCE 2021)” entitled “Creative Economy for Inclusive Development and Global Recovery” end of January 2021.
So, before leaving for the road trip, let’s fill the vehicle with a variety of locally made products to make the trip safer, more comfortable, and enjoyable. But what items do you need to bring? Here are the list:
Medicines and hygiene kits
Anything undesirable on the way can happen, such as illness, dizziness, motion sickness, or injury. Personal medicines and hygiene kits such as masks, hand sanitizers, and disinfectants must be available in the vehicle.
Consumption
Every region in Indonesia must have unique culinary delights that are easily found along the way. But this is not an obstacle to bringing various types of culinary in a vehicle. Snacks such as chips, fruit, mainstay spices, and locally made drinks are mandatory menus to enter the vehicle during a road trip.
Clothes
For fashion matters, obviously you don’t want to arrive at a tourist location but have the wrong costumes or the stock is out of stock? Well, that’s why clothes also have to be taken into account. Don’t want to go to the beach, but don’t bring cute locally made beach clothes. Losing a lot!
Cutlery
Don’t forget to also bring locally made cutlery such as plates, glasses, spoons and forks that can be used repeatedly to reduce plastic waste.
If all of the above items are complete, the road trip will definitely feel safe and comfortable. Apart from that, try to be disciplined in applying health protocols, namely wearing a mask, keeping your distance, and washing your hands with soap. Let’s spread positive energy for the rise of Indonesian tourism! [traveltext.id]
