CURRENTLY, the state-owned hotel holding process is ongoing. Furthermore, the hotel holding is divided into two parts, namely the ownership holding held by WIKA Realty and the holding operatorship held by PT Hotel Indonesia Natour (HIN).
According to the President Director of PT Hotel Indonesia Natour, Iswandi Said, explained that our competence in this hotel holding operates in operatorship. In the part of ownership that is held by WIKA Realty, there are only 11 hotels that are managed. As for operatorship, this year it will manage 29 hotel units. In the next 5 years, the target is to have more than 100 hotels managed.
Iswandi conveyed that the holding consolidation process in the first phase includes 22 hotels consisting of 11 hotels belonging to Hotel Indonesia Natour, 1 hotel belonging to Aero Wisata, 1 hotel belonging to PT Patra Jasa, and 9 hotels belonging to PT Pegadaian.
Furthermore, he said that holding ownership will be completed by the middle of this year. Meanwhile, the operatorship holding is still ongoing. He also added that not all HIN assets were taken completely by the hotel holding. His party will only hold shares of IDR 2 trillion.
“So, it is not true that all the assets were taken, the 11 hotel units being held were diverted to WIKA Realty. HIN got shares because the participation of the 11 hotel units was worth Rp2 trillion,” he noted.
Hotel Indonesia Natour itself has 11 hotel and resort units in Bali, Java and Sumatra, namely Inaya Putri Bali, Grand Inna Kuta, Grand Inna Padang, Grand Inna Malioboro, Grand Inna Tunjungan, Grand Inna Samudra Beach, Grand Inna Medan, Inna Tretes, Inna Parapat, Inna Sindhu Beach, and Inna Bali Heritage.
Meanwhile, Wika Realty currently manages seven condotels, namely Best Western Papilio Hotel in Surabaya, Best Western Premiere La Grande Hotel in Bandung, Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort, Golden Tulip Jineng Resort Bali, Best Western The Lagoon Manado Hotel, Best Western Premiere The Hive Hotel Jakarta. and the Kyriad Hotel Airport Tangerang.
Iswandi continued, for the holding operatorship stage, his party is specifically working to restructure all state-owned hotels that are members of the hotel holding so as to attract tourists. Iswandi said, HIG, which currently operates only 14 state-owned hotels, will have the task of operating all 100 state-owned hotels, as well as other privately owned hotels.
“This will also lead HIN to transform into a business actor in the service industry or the hospitality industry. So the projection, the coverage will be even wider because it will also participate in the tourism holding,” he concluded. [kontan.co.id/photo special]
