“We already have a tourist village that is famous in the world, one of which is Penglipuran Village in Bangli Regency, Bali which is famous for being the cleanest village in the world. We also have several villages that already have international standards, therefore the award assessment at the Indonesian Tourism Village year 2021 is based on 4 pillars of sustainable tourism development, namely, governance, local economy, culture, and environmental preservation,” he stated.
