THE new procedure for international arrival at Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) Airport carried out by the Air Task Force for Handling COVID-19 together with PT Angkasa Pura II and stakeholders is considered a solution to prevent the spread of COVID-19 from abroad.

According to the Director of Operations and Services of AP II Muhamad Wasid (2/5) said that this new procedure can be carried out properly by all aircraft passengers arriving from abroad. Since it was implemented on April 30, 2021, procedures can be implemented properly to ensure that international arrival requirements are met by Indonesians and foreigners arriving from abroad.

“We are grateful to aircraft passengers who have undergone the international arrival procedure properly. The new procedure is also expected to support the smooth quarantine process for airplane passengers at a predetermined location, either at the Pademangan Athletes House, or in hotels,” he said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force, Lieutenant General Doni Monardo, said this new procedure was a solution to ensure that international arrival requirements were met by plane passengers from abroad.
