According to The Nusa Dua Managing Director, I Gusti Ngurah Ardita in Badung Regency, Wednesday (2/6) said as the manager of The Nusa Dua, we are ready to host the 2021 Bali and Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF) event. be a communication effort and bridge for the revival of the tourism economy after the COVID-19 pandemic and become a link for the promotion of sustainable tourism destinations and products.
“Since its first implementation in 2014, BBTF has always taken place in The Nusa Dua area, which has complete accommodations for more than five thousand hotel rooms and Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition (MICE) facilities that can accommodate more than 20 thousand people. delegation,” said Ngurah Ardita.
He explained, The Nusa Dua is very ready to hold various activities considering that the area and tenants in the area have also been certified for Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) and their workers have completed the COVID-19 vaccination program. “We hope that BBTF can become an event to re-promote leading tourist destinations and products in Bali and other regions in Indonesia to the international market, as an effort to encourage the recovery of Bali and national tourism after the COVID-19 pandemic,” Ngurah Ardita noted.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the BBTF 2021 Committee, I Ketut Ardana, explained that more than 150 buyers will certainly participate in the Bali and Beyond Travel Fair in 2021. It is planned that there will be 64 buyers from abroad, from a number of countries such as England, France, Australia. , the United States as well as a number of Asian countries.
“For buyers from Indonesia, there are already around 100 participants. 100 domestic buyers. The number of buyers has also decreased by 49.50% compared to BBTF 2019. As for sellers, there will be 125 sellers who will join BBTF 2021 from 11 provinces in Indonesia. These come from various regions in Indonesia, but 70-80% of them come from Bali.
