THE COORDINATING Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Kemenko Marves) conducted a roadshow or tour to socialize the Work From Bali (WFB) Program with representatives of the Bali Provincial Government and associations of tourism and creative economy players in Bali on 2-4 June 2021.
According to the Assistant Deputy for Human Resources Development & Tourism and Creative Economy, at The Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Hermin Esti Setyowati in a written statement in Jakarta, Saturday (6/5) said the WFB socialization roadshow was carried out online and offline to the offices of seven Ministries/Institutions (M/I) under the coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs, State-Owned Enterprises, and digital startup companies located in Jakarta.
“This roadshow is held so that friends from the Bali Provincial Government as well as Bali tourism and creative economy players have the opportunity to explain the mechanism for implementing Work From Bali in more detail,” said Hermin Esti Setyowati.
Through the WFB roadshow, it is hoped that there will be a space for dialogue between the Bali Provincial Government and the ranks of tourism and creative economy players as organizers with M/I as well as State-Owned Enterprises and startup companies as the target of the program.
“Questions about the mechanism, to the implementation of health protocols can be conveyed and answered in this roadshow activity,” Hermin stated.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Bali Tourism Office, Putu Astawa, appreciated the WFB Program initiated by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs & Investment as an affirmative action against the slump in Bali’s economy due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“During this roadshow, we got a very positive impression and were very much supported by M/I and State-Owned Enterprises. Hopefully after it can run later, WFB activities will be useful in restoring the optimism of the perpetrators, as well as being a manifestation of the government’s presence in the midst of community difficulties,” Putu Astawa concluded.
