THE first time when we heard of Lagoon Garden, we definitely remember with the pizza legend restaurant in Jakarta, the very famous Pizzaria of the 80’s-90’s, a place for young people to hang-out after working at that time. According to Christian Djoeharnoko, Director of Catering Sales at The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta at the New Lagoon Gathering in Thursday (6/10) said Lagoon Garden is one of many large rooms available at The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta.
“Lagoon Garden is commonly used for weddings and many MICE events and has an area of 1350 square meters with a ceiling of nine meters high, can accommodate up to 2000 more invitees before the pandemic. Equipped with sophisticated sound and lighting, Lagoon Garden is a very flexible place for events or meetings,” he said.
He explained that this outdoor area is one of the most favorite pre-wedding photo spots for couples to be married at The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta. The main goal is to reintroduce Lagoon Garden because the place is able to accommodate all MICE events and especially weddings in which there are several ceremonies including dinner, traditional ceremonies to receptions. Even guests from the bride’s & groom’s family can stay at the hotel at special prices.
