JAGUAR Land Rover has opened orders for the Jaguar F-Pace SVR sport utility vehicle (SUV) in India, after the car was introduced in Europe at the end of 2020.
According to Jaguar Land Rover India President Director Rohit Suri said the new F-PACE SVR is a precision product that extends the appeal of the Jaguar brand to enthusiasts seeking true sports performance.
Jaguar India did not announce the official price of the car, but the Times Now India page predicts the car will sell for IDR1.5 billion or more expensive than the previous Jaguar F-Pace for IDR1.3 billion. The F-PACE SVR uses Jaguar’s 405 kW 5.0 l V8 supercharged petrol engine with 700 Nm of torque. The Porsche Macan competitor SUV can go 0-100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds.
Jaguar uses the ‘New Electronic Vehicle Architecture’ technology which is claimed to provide a more pleasant driving feeling, because the technology allows the transmission system performance to be more aggressive but smooth.
While in the braking system, the F-PACE SVR uses dual discs with ‘Integrated Power Booster’ which makes the braking distance on the pedals shorter.
In the entertainment system, the F-PACE SVR features a 11.4-inch touch screen Pivi Pro infotainment with a simpler menu display that is easily accessible to the driver from behind the wheel. The car also utilizes an internet connection for the Over-The-Air (SOTA) feature, which allows the software to update regularly. [antaranews/photo special]
