TO INCREASE tourist visits, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy launched a trail of civilization tour package for Borobudur Temple.
According to Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno at Omah Mbudur Magelang, Central Java, Monday (6/21) evening, said this activity would enrich visits, improve quality, prolong the stay, and the quality of shopping for tourists who will come to Borobudur.
“Today we are launching a trail of civilization and in the next three days we will carry out activities related to travel patterns and five of them have been introduced and this is about civilization where to visit Borobudur must present a unique experience from a visit. this super priority destination,” he said.
He explained that this activity is part of the readiness of five super priority destinations that must be implemented in accordance with health protocols, especially now entering the implementation of restrictions on community activities which is more stringent and hopes that tourism that is more personalized, customized, localized, and smaller in size can be presented with a trail of civilization.
“From the next three days there will be small activities such as dinner and sharing experiences with UNESCO Jakarta, then tomorrow there will be yoga and pottery making and several other activities. Through this activity, it is hoped that people can rise up, can spread enthusiasm and creative economy players like Omah Mbudur with their creative economy products can revive. So this is a new spirit to rise from the midst of this pandemic,” he noted.
Minister Sandiaga concluded that the trial tour package was excavated from the reliefs of Borobudur Temple. This trip is to explore the values of what is in the reliefs of Borobudur Temple to increase tourist attractions around Borobudur. [traveltext.id/photo special]
