SUPER AIR JET WILL BE OPERATING SOON, HERE ARE THE ROUTES AND FARES

THE Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transportation has completed the certification process for the application for the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) of PT. Super Air Jet (SAJ) with Airbus A320 aircraft type on Friday (25/6) at the Ministry of Transportation Office.

According to Novie Riyanto, the Director General of Civil Aviation, PT. Super Air Jet already holds a Scheduled Commercial Air Transport Business License (SIUAU-NB) with Number SIUAU/NB-036, which was issued on September 17, 2020.

“We have carried out the certification process for the issuance of the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) based on an application letter from the SAJ since September 30, 2020,” he said in his official statement, Monday (6/28).

The certification process refers to ICAO provisions and applicable aviation regulations in Indonesia which is carried out through 5 stages or phases, namely: Pre Application, Formal Application, Document Compliance, Demonstration & Inspection, and Certification. All of these stages have been certified for 9 months.

For information, SAJ is the holder of the first Air Operator Certificate to be certified after the issuance of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation and Presidential Regulation Number 5 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing, thus the requirement to issue AOC is the minimum number of aircraft operated are three planes.

Meanwhile, based on the official website www.superaitjet.com, the latest airline will offer a number of routes from Jakarta to several destinations including Palembang, Pekanbaru, Medan Kualanamu, Pontianak, Padang, Batam, Lombok, Bali, to Banjarmasin.

From these routes, the airline also offers prices starting from IDR300,000. From that price offer, Super Air Jet also offers free baggage up to 20 kilograms for each passenger. But until now, the website page superjet.com is still not available and will be launched soon.

Meanwhile, when detailed, the following are the tariffs for domestic routes offered, namely Jakarta-Palembang starting from IDR252,000, Jakarta-Pekanbaru starting from IDR423,000, Jakarta-Medan Kualanamu starting from IDR536,000, Jakarta-Pontianak from IDR385,000, and Jakarta-Padang from IDR 440,000.

Furthermore, the Jakarta-Batam route is priced starting from IDR429,000, Jakarta-Lombok starting from IDR416,000, Jakarta-Bali starting from IDR426,000 and the Jakarta-Banjarmasin route starting from IDR437,000. [sources/photo special]
