ANGKASA PURA II PREPARES 3,500 DOSES OF VACCINE PER DAY AT THE AIRPORTS

PT ANGKASA Pura (AP) II has prepared 3,500 doses of vaccine in all airport vaccination centers it manages.

According to the President Director of AP II Muhammad Awaluddin in a press release, he said that prospective airplane passengers are required to show a vaccination card and a PCR test result letter. AP II together with stakeholders are committed so that the air transportation sector can continue to contribute in maintaining flight connectivity in Indonesia, support urgent community travel, and support the handling of COVID-19.

He said that based on the Circular of the Minister of Transportation Number 45 of 2021, airplane passengers with routes to/from Java and Bali are required to show a vaccination card at least the first dose and the results of a PCR test whose samples are taken a maximum of 2×24 hours before departure.

“AP II fully supports the Java-Bali Emergency PPKM on 3-20 July 2021 as a joint effort in handling COVID-19. In line with that, AP II together with all stakeholders coordinate closely to open vaccination centers at airports for prospective airplane passengers,” he said.

Husein Sastranegara, Bandung (08.00-12.00), (4) Banyuwangi (06.30-13.30), (5) Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin-Palembang (08.00-12.00), (6) HAS Hanandjoeddin, Belitung (07.00-15.00), (7). Fatmawati Soekarno, Bengkulu (08.00-17.00), (8). Sultan Thaha, Jambi (08.00-17.00), (9). Sultan Iskandar Muda, Aceh (10.00-15.00), (10).Sultan Syarif Kasim II, Pekanbaru (08.00-14.00), (11) Kuanalamu, Deli Serdang (09.00-15.00), (12) Radin Inten II, Lampung (09.00-12.00), (13) Depati Amir, Pangkalpinang (08.00-14.00), (14) Minangkabau, Padang (09.00-13.00), (15) Supadio, Pontinak (09.00-12.00), (16). To accommodate the requests and needs of prospective passengers, he said, the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Vaccination Center will be open 24 hours. On 3-4 July 2021, 1,914 people were recorded to have vaccinated the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Vaccination Center.

“The appeal to stay at home and only travel if it is urgent for the Java-Bali Emergency PPKM is obeyed by the community, as can be seen from the movement of aircraft passengers at AP II airports which decreased by 70% on July 5 compared to traffic before the implementation of Emergency PPKM,” Muhammad Awaluddin concluded.
